Rutgers 30, South Florida 27 (final)

I'm going to tear up.

I was really looking forward to seeing the Buckeyes tear new assholes where nature didn't intend them to be when USF met the Ohio State University Varsity squad this year in NAwleans

Now, that is all lost.

I'm all shook up.

Two things I have to say here:

1. How HUGE is ESPN's Thursday night game NEXT week with likely new #2 B.C. going into Blacksburg A.K.A. the place highly ranked teams go to die?

2. I guess there is no such things as a Cinderella playing for it all. I bet Oklahoma, AKA THE MOST ANNOYING TEAM IN COLLEGIATE SPORTS, will play for the title, and lose.. again.

BTW, let's give Rutgers props. After that Maryland debacle, they looked good. Perhaps this will juice up the Rutgers/WVU game in two weeks?

Seems like a lot of folks pulling for Rutgers, when most of the vCash was on USF.

This helps LSU and Oklahoma more that tOSU.

That is undoubtedly true. Then again, when you're sitting at #1, you don't need help in terms of position. USF was causing a perception problem for Ohio State though - or rather, voters and media types were using USF as a vehicle to propagate a perception against the Buckeyes. I didn't like it, I felt it was unfounded, and I'm glad it's been put to bed within a week of its beginning.
