Have to disagree with Sushi here. Rocky is a religion, and most men are devotees. If he graces our existence a sixth time, we can all hold up our hands and say "well, it can't be worse than the fifth!"

Obviously there are a lot of people who don't feel the way I do, so I'm not going to invest a whole lot of time trying to prove the following statement. I'll just say that this is my opinion, and I have my reasons.

The Rocky series is crap.

Rocky V is an abomination.

Rocky IV is only slightly entertaining, and only because of Dolph Lundgren and the USA v. USSR tinge.

Rocky III features Mr. T and Hulk Hogan. Nothing else needs to be said.

Rocky II took an iconic storyline, tried to inject complex human emotion, and ruined it.

Rocky I - by all accounts the best of the series - is tainted forever. Can anyone name what films it beat out for Best Picture?
