I don't have a problem with No Doubt, musically speaking.

But I do have a HUGE effin' problem with people trying to karaoke a song originally performed by Gwen Stefani. It does not work. It's like all those diva wannabes on American Idol that think it's a good idea to tackle a Whitney Houston or Mariah Carey song at their audition.

Unless you are the 1-in-1,000,000, it is going to end very very badly.

I just got GHWT as an early Christmas gift. I'm fucking hooked. This is my first music game I've ever played and now I feel I've missed out for a while.

Since you have the guitar I would say get GH3, it's a better game, but WT is a lot of fun, especially if you get friends over, drunk them up, and see how they perform.

I'm a Rock Band owner but I think I'm getting WT for Christmas, just because there are so many cool songs. Why is GH3 better?

I can't speak for OC,but I also enjoy GH3 a lot more then other games. I think it's the playlist for me. That and I obsessively starting playing it more so then the others. I still never beat the last tier on expert.

It just was, the character customization was kind of pointless in wt, and getting money and actually beating the game was near pointless since you got money for everything you did. I didn't like the new battle style, I thought the old battles really made the game so that you needed to improve.

I broke my drums in my wt with the help of rage and whiskey, so I haven't really played the drum set yet, but I don't like the new set style, where you can't really just work on one song, they have groups of 3-5 songs you do instead of just keeping working at that one song until you got it and going on to the next.

Plus, WT just seemed easier to me.

Thanks. Guess I won't be disappointed if I don't get it.

I really enjoy Rockband a lot more than Guitar Hero, I think its the fact that I have so many more songs to choose from because I can play all the songs from Rockband and Rockband 2 while only using one disc. The GHWT was kind of a disappointment to me, but still a lot of fun to play. What was up with that song in all Spanish? That was just a weird song to choose. But I must agree, Guitar Hero 3 is still the best out of them all. Sooo many good songs you couldn't go wrong.

I believe Guitar Hero 3 is the worst of all the games released so far. Yes, the setlist is awesome, but they overcharted the shit out of everything in that game. It was to the point where it was so unrealistic that it sucked.

Rock Band is the superior game. It looks cleaner, the in-game menus and navigation are much better, and the people at Harmonix truly know how to chart the songs. I just wish Rock Band had the GHWT disc songs. Plus, GH is going to have 2 free Bruce Springsteen songs soon.

Rockband is definitely charted better. There are a lot of people who do the custom fretting on frets on fire, and they do a better job then guitar hero or rockband. The whole interface of rockband just turns me away from it. It looks technoish(word?) to a point of uglyness.

I agree with you here, well that and I fucking hate the rock band guitar. The way it strums and holds just doesn't work for me. I thought GH3 was a great game, hell, I went back to it today because I beat it on hard playing the PS2, so I went back and started working on it with the Xbox 360 since we have achievements. Also, it was interesting, I tried the playing on the controller today, not as easy as I thought :p

While I will agree Expert mode is way over charted, the set list was awesome, and it really depends on what your gameplay style is. I really like just being able to chill and play. Something else I noticed, my DLC that I have gotten for WT is available inside GH3, that's pretty awesome, unfortunately, my GH3 DLC isn't available in WT, I would love to have the dragonforce DLC in WT but I guess WT charted for all instruments, so meh.
