actually, Robert said in this article that if his friend wasn't offered that he would look at ole miss since his buddy has an offer there. Its all really shady, and Robert knows he has them by the balls and if they don't cave another team will gladly take him

Definitely not an ultimatum...but definitely some leverage work.

Probably would have been better served talking to Coach Swinney about it instead of the press...now someone has to step across the drawn line.

Thing is...if that is his overall GPA, his core GPA for qualifying is even likely lower. If 2.2 is the core, he needs a 940 SAT/20 ACT to qualify.

If I'm Clemson and have to compete for recruits against the likes of the SEC, I'd gladly offer the kid to get the #1 recruit to my school. He may say one thing in the press but another behind closed doors. It sure wouldn't be the first time.
