Stephanie Spielman was a truly special person and I mourn her passing. A great wife and Mom and a devoted Christian. Today she is in the presence of the One she loved more than anyone or anything. Welcome home Stephanie!!

Thoughts and prayers for Chris and the Spielman family.

My heart breaks for the Chris and his family. If anyone had an opportunity to talk to her or listen to her address the crowd you will know how refreshing her view of the world was and what a loss this is to everyone she has touched.

Terrible news. RIP Stefanie.

Mike Florio of PFT had some very kind words for Chris and his family. Posting this because it shows that this isn't just a loss for the Spielman family and their fellow Buckeyes, there are many, many other communities who will be giving the family their support. The Spielman family has touched a lot of people. This is really too bad.

Editor's note: I arrived home roughly an hour ago after picking up my son at basketball practice, ate dinner with my family, and then pulled up the site to see the latest news. My head dropped, my heart sank, and my stomach churned when I saw the news regarding Stefanie Spielman. Chris and his brother, Rick, are two of the very finest men associated with the sport of football, and my deepest condolences and prayers extend tonight to Chris, Rick, and their families.
