From the Detroit News:

I only brought it here becasue of comment made by our good buddy, Rich Rod.

"Everybody's gonna have their own opinion, that's fine," he said. "But I feel as confident today it's gonna happen. It's just a lot slower than I wanted, a lot slower than our fans wanted, and I don't blame them for that. But I'm not deterred by it."

I asked if he understood some people have a hard time seeing the same progress he sees.

"Sometimes people see what they want to see," Rodriguez said. "I know what I see and I'm in the middle of it. Maybe some people don't want me to have success. I like how recruiting has gone. I know what we have in the program, I know what we need to do to fix it. We will be better."

Yes, Richy, sometimes people see what they WANT to see, and you also are seeing what you WANT to see. It is not the fans, boosters, or former players that are blanantly turning a blind eye to the problems, it is you, buddy. Seriously, pull your head out of your ass, wipe the fecal matter from your eyes and open them up and you will see what everyone else sees; That you suck as a head coach.

I love how arrognat this son of bitch is. He truly is a Michigan Man.

Actually, Rich, we want to see you have success and, in our minds, you are a great success. Don't listen to them, do it YOUR way.

BB, what's the over and under for minutes/days/hours until RR gets the shove out the door?

I personally think that a) Harbaugh isn't a choice. b) politically it would be death to buy out RR and then drop the kind of dough it's going to take to get a big name HC in this economy. I think they're stuck for 2 - 3 more years.

Now, take this same team and put Woolfolk back on it and they might have won 1 or 2 more games. If -- IF -- he could land a couple of decent corners and a DL or five he could have enough to come into The Game with 8 or 9 wins. He doesn't have to play Wisconsin -- there's some irony for you. I remember when it was the Badgers feeling relieved at not being on their schedule -- he won 7 games with half a team. Few people here gave him that kind of year back in August.

There's no way scUM puts up with DickRod for another 2-3 years....

DickRod isn't Brandon's hire. He can fire him and get a pass for it at almost any time. The economy has very little to do with anything at this point.

The hell you say.

Isn't there an out because of the "too much practice time" infractions they incurred?
