Rich Rodriguez (official thread of last laughs)

If RR were a bank robber he'd write "This here's a stick up" on the back of a withdrawal slip (after accurately filling out the front side) then just take the lollipops they give the kids in the drive thru.

Or, if he was a purse snatcher, he'd do it on a jet in the middle of a trans-Atlantic flight.
Then, emboldened by his escape from economy to first-class, he'd grab another purse there.

Failure to think a plan through to its logical conclusion: Not the best attribute to have in a head coach.

Investigations at Michigan and West Virginia could cost Rich Rodriguez - Campus Rivalry: College Football & Basketball News, Recruiting, Game Picks, and More - USATODAY.com

West Virginia's pending case with the NCAA could be more damaging to Michigan coach Rich Rodriguez than the Mountaineers. The Notice of Allegation in the case said the violations started in 2005 when Rodriguez was coach of West Virginia.

The accusations are similar to what Rodriguez and Michigan are facing when they go before the NCAA's Committee on Infractions later this month. The West Virginia report states Rodriguez "failed to promote an atmosphere of compliance within the football program" along with not monitoring the activities of graduate assistant coaches and other staff members.

Should both schools be penalized for violations under his watch, Rodriguez could face a show-case penalty, which would effectively end his tenure with the Wolverines and keep him out of college coaching for at least the term of the penalty.

"For the Michigan hearing, the West Virginia Notice of Allegations will not have a direct impact on the actual proceedings of the hearing because they are separate and distinct cases," Michael Buckner, a Florida attorney who frequently represents universities in NCAA cases, told annarbor.com. "However, it's going to be the silent entity in the hearing room. Everyone's going to know about it but no one's going to talk about it."

Had we played WVU this year it would have been HUGE for me where I live. I 'm in Marietta Ohio which is right along the river across from WV. I guess Rodriguez was heckled in an airport as WVU people screamed "you can't go 3-8 in UM!!" (like he did his first year at WVU) and they chanted O-H! I-O! as he ran down the terminal!
Hmmm.... turns out they were wrong.
