Rich Rodriguez (official thread of last laughs)

At Michigan, coach Rich Rodriguez has an established record of success at other programs, but unlike Florida's Meyer or Cincinnati-turned-Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly, Rodriguez refused to adjust his scheme to fit the personnel in the program when he took the reins. He'll probably have one more season to prove he can win with his own recruits.

Correlation Between Top 100 Signees and BCS Bowls (2006-09)
Michigan: 30 Top 100 Signees, 1 BCS BOWL
Ohio State: 20 Top 100 Signees, 4 BCS BOWLS

Forgive me but I've just watched the majority of the 24 hour Christmas Story marathon and I just couldn't help but think of RR and vulvariene nation as a whole every time I heard Schwartz gets the piss beat out of him over the phone by his mother.

No matter what may/may not be fucked up in our little football world its always good to remember a couple of states away, Rodriguez and the arrogant asses are getting theirs.

It's a humbling thing, being humble.

Oh, lord it's hard to be humble
When you're perfect in every way
I can't wait to look in the mirror
'Cause I get better looking each day
To know me is to love me
I must be one heck of a man
Oh, lord it's hard to be humble
But I'm doing the best that I can.

My inside source just sent me this direct quote:

These guys up here try to tackle the guy with the ball. What the hell is that? When did they start allowing that? I just think my style is better suited to the Big XII. You don't have to worry about them making up new rules like "the
defense can play 11 able bodied players" and things like that.

I wouldn't be happy either if my conference record were 3-13 after two seasons...
No shit....and those fans. Expecting more than an 8-16 record for the all time winningest program in the sport. The fucking nerve...

What makes that idiot think any college is going to be knocking on his door.
He's a mongoloid.

Fire up the flight tracker software...

Ironically, I think Lubbock is just the type of place that ol' DickRod could be successful. School happy with 8-9 win seasons, small program where a gimmicky offense is needed, out of the public eye...
