Rich Rodriguez (official thread of last laughs)

does dick rod call the offensive plays? I'd be interested to see a breakdown of how many times tsun ran the same exact plays out of the same exact formations yesterday.

two receivers out wide on one side, quarterback in the shotgun flanked by two backs, read option or the quick pass to the slot receiver while the wide out cracks down, they had to have run one of those two plays out of that formation at least 20 times

Interesting stat I picked up from a UM board.

From 1969 through 2007 UM gave up 40 or more points four times.

They did it four times this season.

Even crazier, from 1969 - 1990 it didn't happen at all.

2006 Ohio State 42 Michigan 39
2002 Tennessee 45 Michigan 17 (Citrus Bowl)
2000 Northwestern 54 Michigan 51
1991 Florida State 51 Michigan 31

I don't know if he said he would not take the job. I think he said that he was not aware of all the talent that would be lost from last year to this. Which makes him stupid for not knowing.

Way to sell out your team RR......kind of like the comment Coop made about "too many slow white guys" from years back...

I made this up to highlight the event....

"As far as next season, it's going to be totally different, I promise you that," tailback Brandon Minor said. "I can't really blame Rich Rod because everybody on the team didn't buy in like they're supposed to. But we'll correct that. It's not gonna happen on my watch as a senior next year."

Well. Thats just a tiny bit of a problem. :slappy:

I wanted to see that also.

I don't know if he said he would not take the job. I think he said that he was not aware of all the talent that would be lost from last year to this. Which makes him stupid for not knowing.

The other aspect of him saying that the talent level is low is that he's making an excuse for the 3-9 record.

It couldn't be his fault that the season was so horrid.

[NFBuck] Still an ass. [/NFBuck]
