Rich Rodriguez (official thread of last laughs)

I seriously, seriously need a life, so, RichRod, buddy, light of my life:

[censored] you, you stupid-assed, inbred, hilljack ass-nozzle bitch. You are going to lose every single one of these games until Big Blue runs your punk bitch ass out of town with another buyout, so get used to the view from that [censored]hole we just dumped you in, and you'll be spending the rest of your tenure trying to crawl your way out of.

I haven't seen the interview on ESPN College GameDay, but if true that Rodriguez said if he had to do it again, he wouldn't have taken the TSUN job, that sends a terrible message to his team.

The curse of Adidas continues and I'm glad TSUN switched.

I'm a little disapointed that rr did not shed the tears on the sideline today,
I wanted to see that also.

I don't know if he said he would not take the job. I think he said that he was not aware of all the talent that would be lost from last year to this. Which makes him stupid for not knowing.

He said something like "I should've known better" when speaking about how little talent was there. I think.

I still say there is talent there, but that's a different story.

Even with everyone who left, I find it hard to believe that WV has better talent than the skunk bears this year. Maybe but hard to believe

The talent is there.. it's not like they stopped recruiting for a couple years.

WVU has a couple playmakers, but if they can't be replaced, they'll be average at best.

Pat White > any scrub scUM has on their roster.

That being said, I think a little too much blame is placed on the QB's. If Dick was sincere about molding his offense around the talent available, I think Threet could be a decent pro or modified spread (think tOSU with TS) offense. The line was atrocious, but forcing them to adapt to an entirely different blocking scheme doomed them from the beginning. They have good backs, but they sorely lack talent along the OL.

Next year, he will presumably have to break in another new QB. On top of that, many key cogs on the (already bad) defense will be gone. Most importantly along the DL, their one good unit. They are gonna suck for some time. All Dick saw was the bags of money...speaks volumes about his character IMO.

More like, Pat White is a once in a couple of decades talent for WVU and got Rod the scUM job.

Maybe those crazy West Virginians were on to something?

well, you gotta think the scummers are happy. they desperately wanted a coach to come in and turn the team around from the vloyd carr days. its official, they found exactly that in dickrod.

vloyd: 9-3
dickrod: 3-9

congrats to you dickrod. well done!

And on the vloyd note...

I think that I'm going to start calling Dick Rod III-IX. Maybe just III when I'm feeling casual.

:oh:
