Rich Rodriguez (official thread of last laughs)

Yet another good reason to leave the Trey McKneel thread in the CFB forum.

With each passing day, as we learn more about both subjects, the gap between the two threads becomes even more narrow. They're on a rapid convergence course.

Funny thing is that I could see Rodriguez giggling at his computer while bashing OSU online. I mean, he did it to Justin Boren through the media, and does it to his players when the practice.

It's easier to do it on the internet. I'm certain he does it. So he steals recruits, bashes kids, and makes fun of people on the internet. Classy, Richard.

Because Tressel recruits verbals too? It was a pretty obvious slam on Tiller the hypocrite, if you ask me.
I know he does, but it is "Between the gentlemen".

He has recruited Illinois verbals (Including Melvin Fellows right now), but it remains to be seen whether or not Zook is considered among the gentlemen. I don't recall him targeting another recruit that committed to a B10 school. Maybe it's just my memory but I don't know.

If Pryor committed to JoePa in November, there's no chance OSU stops recruiting him if Pryor remains interested.

It seems clear to me that there are 'no gentlemen' in recruiting, including Tiller, who was so upset about RR stealing Roundtree that he tried to poach a WR from Ball State.

Got'cha, loud and clear.

Actually, I am somewhat convinced by another interpretation of Tressel's comment I heard.

According to that interpretation, Tressel was saying that the coaches had made an agreement at a meeting at which RR was not in attendance because he was not a Big Ten coach. Thus, he is not among the gentlemen who made the agreement. The argument is that its not JT's style to disrespect anyone and we know that to be true.

However, personally, I prefer the "in your face" interpretation, so I'm sticking with that!

That's exactly what was meant imo.

JT said "Only between the gentlemen", not "Only between gentlemen".

JT wouldn't take a shot like that. I mean, come on, it's not like we're dealing with DickRod here. :wink2:

^^^ So this fabled meeting of the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen ... was John L Smith there?

If so, I call bullshit.

Look, if they had this meeting even three years ago, I think two of the coaches are now RIP and six others have been fired! :p
