Reds Tidbits (2013 Season)

Our record is decent, but it's hard to imagine the season starting out any worse for the Reds. Losing our number 4 hitter and now Cueto has an issue with his arm definitely stings. Good thing we moved Chapman to the bullpen...

If Cueto's injury turns out to be serious Chapman could be sent down and stretched out to be a starter. You still have Broxton to slide into the closer role.

That's a pretty good ace in the hole.

No, once Chapman was inserted into the closers role, it was set in stone that he was only closing this season. It would be pretty unfair to Chapman, and unwise, to send him down to Lousiville for a month to get him stretched out. Assuming Cueto is out for a while, sending Chapman down to Lousivlle would mean the Reds would be without their two most dominant pitchers for a long duration. He's a closer for the duration of this season.

If Cueto is out for an extended period, it looks like the best bet to be called up is Cingrani, who is still not a finished product.

Sitting here watching all these ambulance chasing lawyer commercials between innings got me thinking.

If you can get a class action suit against any medical device ever created why the fuck can't we get one against the Reds?

They've certainly caused an enormous amount of pain and suffering.

Too bad they banned Gator. I bet he'd be down.

Fucking Frazier has choked big time tonight. Had at least one meatball in every ab and missed them all.

They will strand yet another set of runners this inning when they had 2 on 0 out.

If they were as consistently good as they are consistently bad this would be the greatest team in history.

If I were Bob C I wouldn't let them on the team plane after this shit. I'd make them pay their own way.

Losing a series to the pirates is like getting your ass kicked by the guy down the streets gay little brother.

Just shameful.
