Dusty is in midseason form.

Mark Sheldon Blog

?We?ve just go to address that famous runner on third base and less than two outs,? Baker said. ?When you?re losing one-run games, usually somewhere along the line, there was a walk at the wrong time, which there was. We left a runner on third with than less two outs. We?ll address it.?

So basically it isn't the out that's bad, it's the walk that clogs the bases and sets up the double play.

So for the most part the guys look like they've been sitting at home for 3 months, pretty much figured that.

Some positives are that Mesoraco has been working on his swing and could finally get it going this year, hopefully. The starting pitching looks pretty damn good albeit vs a lot of minor leaguers.

Hamilton is in another world on the bases but he has a hard time getting to first. He's only batting .150 so far and has a shit ton of K's for his at bats with too many looking. If, he bats .220 and takes some walks, he steals 50 bases at this level easily. He's just filthy on the basepaths. They just need to get him making contact down in AAA and Willie Mays Hayes' the shit out of the MLB staffs.

Fat boy Broxton is doing well early also. We'll certainly need him and Marshall to stay healthy and happy on the mound this year.

Mesoraco needed a second season in AAA to get it together. Not surprised he struggled last year. Maybe he'll take a step forward in his second MLB season like he did in his second season in Louisville.

Spring training for us in this thread too I guess but you left out the part where he's a complete fucking flop and the guy we traded instead will be the next Johnny Bench.

Come on man, season is only a month away.

Good point about the guy they traded. At least he was intelligent and self-aware enough to realize that his performance needed enhanced.

That's the true curse of the shittiest Reds players and managers. It's not that they suck, it's that they have no clue about it.

Gibson and Dusty get into it over some lineup stuff. Dusty refuses to shake his hand.

Dusty is a fucking idiot's idiot, but he's our fucking idiot.

Fuck Kirk Gibson.

They're both idiots but Gibson at least told Duh-sty three days ago that they weren't going to use the DH...I guess Duh-sty's poop shoot is still stretched from taking weather advice from LaRusa two years ago and won't listen to anybody ever again...so, fuck Duh-sty.
