Nobody goes from decent start to fucking horrible faster. There is never anytime to even get the bullpen up, the damage is done before you can react.

Arroyo is going to have a long year. It seems like he is getting by on smoke and mirrors, which is largely the case after giving up 10 hits in 6.1 IP. If Arroyo gives us 6 good IP, then it's time to get him out of the game because sooner or later the opposing team is going to get to him. Good job by Ondrusek to limit the damage.

They have got to find a way to get Chapman into the rotation. Preferably before they are too far out in the race.


Latos will be fine, imo. Little nerves and what not last night. Lots of pressure on him. With Cueto, Latos and Chapman in the rotation, they'll be very formidable come the All Star break. I have little faith in Arroyo every week and zero faith in Bailey.

From my seat, Arroyo wasn't that bad today. He spread out his hits and didn't walk anybody and was changing speeds like a magician ...but WE know who he is and, apparently, our dumb fucking piece of monkey shit manager does NOT...6 should have been his limit with a two run lead...and to not have a warm pen ready to go is as stupid as our fucktard manager can get.

Great weather today...and I certainly spent my share on Joey's contract in beer, dogs, beer, helmet nachos and beer. 100K for opening weekend...not bad.
