Drew looks like he's ready to come out of his funk. He just missed a homer his first time up also.

How is it possible any pitcher can do such a thing?

A serious trade proposal that makes sense for both teams and is realistic in terms of $$ going in both directions:
Votto, Cueto and Juan Francisco to Seattle for Felix Hernandez.
Thoughts?
For the record I'd do it.
gefootball10;1908838; said:Yeah, if I'm Seattle and I'm giving up the reigning CY winner, I'm wanting something more than any one of our dream deals.
My reasoning for being able to part ways with Votto is strictly because we are dealing with Felix here. The guy as you said is three years younger than Votto, and although we all love him, Votto can dip out after 2012 if he wants. With Felix I think we have a guy who would be capable to match a guy like Halladay pitch for pitch in the playoffs. With just that equalizer, I like our chances a lot more in a series with Philly (aka the goal we would all like to be met with this years team)
scott91575;1908875; said:No way. Votto is a higher WAR player than Hernandez, and costs less. You get Hernandez for 1 more year, but you will pay him about $16 million more than Votto in the next 3 years, plus have to pay him $20 million in 2014. I'd rather take that money and offer Votto 3 more years at close to $20 million per.
Francisco I'd trade for some used jock straps, but I would not include Cueto in that trade. On top of all that, I consider Hernandez higher risk than Votto.
So no, I would not do that trade.
