They said on the radio just before Burrell went deep that there hadnt been a homer in that ballpark in 50 innings. Thats crazy.

This umps strike zone is non existent. Couple of pitches that I though Edinson put perfectly this inning went for balls and put him in a hole. Need to get out of this inning and start over next inning.
Great play by Brandon at 2nd base to force the runner off and get him out on a poor throw by Hernandez.

I'd like to talk about Hernandez behind the plate. He is rarely set before Volquez starts his approach to the plate. Hand eye coordination requires a target to focus on. I have been wondering if its Hernandez' nonchelant approach behind the plate that sometimes causes a focus problem for guys on the mound. Veterans like Arroyo wont have much of a problem I would imagine but the young guys, especially Volquez, have had concentration problems. It doesnt look to me like Hernandez is helping his pitchers out very much behind the plate. We he does come set his glove is almost always dead center of the plate. Cant be good.
