He's not wild. He just knew that Phillips hits lefties, and Bruce was up next. He pitched around Phillips. Of course when the ump is giving you strikes like the first one against Bruce, that really helps.

I've only watched the last inning on TV. I watched most of the rest before that on Gameday. Strike zone seems like it's been all over the place.

The zone is probably going to loosen up a bunch for Cubs pitchers the rest of the way. The ump is probably tired of getting rained on.
