Reds Tidbits (2011 Season)

I caution saying this because I watched so many bad Reds teams that past decade that I've blocked a lot of it out of my memory banks completely, but that right there may have been the worst baseball game I've ever watched.

The Cubs are spectacularly awful, and they're getting paid $145 million while doing it.

Wood should've been hung with 2 of his 4. Garza's should have all been unearned. So I think 5 of them were gifts, despite it being the pitchers that were the ones winging the ball all over the place.

I think pitchers should take them as earned when they commit the error.

You've blocked quite a bit.

According to the box score on MLB.com, that is correct.

Did you watch Garza throw it into a camera, Wood throw it to the 328 sign in left, Fukudome miss two cutoff men, and the Cubies attempts at little ball?

The only thing missing was Sunshine Grande spinning Norris Hopper stories.

The Reds have brought back the "Reds Win, You Win" promotion from last year. Every win on this homestand brings the price of Field Level Box Seats down by four dollars for the series vs. the Cubs, June 6-8.

The sweep against the Angry Birds has already knocked $12 off the price (tickets will now cost $22) with four more games to go on this homestand vs. the Cubs and Pirates.

Two more wins against the Cubs have brought those tickets down to $14 ea. with chances to reduce it further with two more games against the Pirates. The discounted tickets go on sale 30 mins. after the end of Thursday's game.
