Well, being that we are in the Northern hemisphere, the Sun not only rises in the East but is also in the South (of course that depends on how north you are, and the time of year). It is lessened in the Summer, but where we are at the sun is always Southeast or Southwest depending on the time of day. The degree of how much it is in the South depends on the time of year.

There is a reason people talk about South facing windows and sun. It's the only windows that get sunlight all day long.

I am not sure it's that major of an issue though. The sun is not in the extreme South until Winter.

While I understand it, the players really need to stop talking about or even thinking about the crowd and just play baseball. I doubt anyone is running to the ticket booth thanks to Sam Lecure's tweet.

I'll be at the game on October 3rd!!! Hope that's close to a sell out. Never been to a Reds game with more than 25,000+. Last game I went to that got anywhere close was the Reds-Red Sox game in 07 or 08, and that was because of all the Red Sox Nation "fans"... Personally I take their fans as seriously as I take all of the Yankee "fans" around here.

Agreed. How did they reward the fans the last time we strung together a series of really high attendance (maybe there's been another since, but not off the top of my head)? By getting swept by the Cards. As someone who's going to be attending a couple games down the stretch, I'd love to see a near-sellout atmosphere every night out, but I don't think the players should be talking.

The Astros are winning 3-1 middle in the top of the 4th.

Why do I bring that up? Because the whiny bitches are losing 3-0 and the Astros are closer to catching the WB's than the WB's are to catching the Reds.

BTW Arizona has the worst bullpen in baseball. Just sayin.

That might matter this game if the Reds were working Hudson's pitch count.

Open on Thursday Mar 31 against the Brewers, then off Friday, followed by Sat/Sun games. Interleague schedule has Reds hosting the Yankees and Blue Jays, then going to Baltimore and Tampa Bay, plus the Cleveland matchup.

How does the plunger thing work in interleague play? Do the Reds have to bring their own or does the home team supply it?
