He got a gift on that game-ending double play. The guy at first was safe by a step.

Also, did you hear Thom go "You have gotta be kidding me" in disgust when Cordero walked the .220 batting pinch hitter in the 10th? :slappy:

Cabrera and Votto both swinging at ball four with the bases loaded against Marmol in the 9th wasn't much better. They did get a gift on the DP to end the game, and in hindsight Bruce was so far out of the baseline to breakup the DP in the Reds half of the 10th that they probably should have called the DP anyway on interference. Bruce was sliding into left field six feet away from the 2nd base bag.

Oh well, I'll take the win and the Cards loss. Going to need that one in the bag today, since Arroyo + Day Game is generally a bad combination.

Reds had a close call on a play at first a little earlier. Can't remember the exact situation, but at least the ump was consistent.

I'm just glad I was driving home from work, listening to it in my truck rather than at home in front of my kids when that happened. The expression of my disgust with Cordero at that moment was much less radio-friendly or kid-friendly. I think I made a few passing sailors blush.
