Fortunately for the Reds, it seems that if they make it to the All-Star break in contention they're in a better position than the past few times they've made it that far. This time around the pitching seems mostly fine, but they need bats - at least to provide some depth on the bench. I think that might be cheaper and easier to trade for than pitching.
I'm just glad that since basketball season ended prematurely this year that I get at least a few weeks of a baseball season. They'll likely come back to Earth, but I'm going to enjoy this while it lasts.
