Reds tidbits (2010 season)

Nice. Back-to-back complete game shutouts. It's nice to finally beat the Pirates for a change.

BTW, Votto is on pace for 38 HRs this season. He'll never get voted into the ASG as long as guys like Pujols and Howard are around, but he deserves to get picked. Leake is going to deserve a look if he keeps things up too.

Let's hope they can figure out how to not fucking pitch to Pujols this weekend.

I wish I wouldn't get all excited for Reds baseball, I did this last year, and like always was left disappointed, setting myself up.

I'll get excited again when the commissioner is handing them a trophy. Until then, fuck them, their retarded manager and their $1 hot dogs.

wtf is going on! 5 in a row and back to back games with complete game shutouts from our starters! not to mention how well we are hitting as a team. hopefully bruce is permanently out of his early funk now.

if we can win this upcoming series against st louis that will be huge!

Bailey threw 90 pitches today - 70 Strikes! That is impressive. 0 walks in back to back games today along with the complete game shutouts is the first time in the Majors since Hudson and Zito did it for the A's in 2000.

Even if they arent as good as their record states right now, it still feels good to watch some wins for a change.

Cards get swept by the Astros. Another good thing is we dont have to face Carpenter in this series. I say walk Albert Pujols about 16 times in this series and take your chances with the other guys who are all struggling to score runs for St. Louis. Albert is in a bit of a slump himself so dont pitch him anything to hit and keep him there.

2 out of 3 would be a great success in this next series. It would also be, dare I say it, enough to be in first place and in the month of May to boot. *gasp*

Haha, its fun talking about it anyway it happens. Leake vs Wainright on Saturday should be a doozy of a game.

An open letter to Aaron Harang:

Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life son. Now I don't know if you are actually drunk or not but continuing to throw the Lady Godiva down the middle of the plate to Albert Pujols leaves no doubt as to the stupid part.
