What's sad is that Farney is about as good a player you'll find in a Reds uniform that wore #6. The only other one I can think of in my lifetime was Ron Gant in '95. I'm too young to remember any of the guys before the 70s.

Could've just put up the Freel Poopy Shirt.

ok, wtf, did i read that right, Cario replaced edmonds already, he get hurt already?

Yeah. Votto was a late scratch with a sinus infection, so Edmonds filled in. Apparently he aggravated his right leg (likely his Achilles injury) while trotting the bases on his home run. Cairo now in to play 1B.

Reds just went up 3-0 in 3rd, with an RBI double by Rolen. Cabrerra had hustled for a 2 bagger after Prince Fielder pulled a Bruckner on an easy grounder, took 3rd on a fielder's choice. Orlando has been playing with determination in the last couple of games.

As I type Rolen scores on a double by Cairo 4-0, Redlegs.

Hanrahan in the game in Pittsburgh with a 5-2 lead in the 8th. Miles reaches on an error, then Pujols singles. Holliday flyout to left, Molina flyout to right, and Rasmus Ks on 3 pitches swinging. Headed to the bottom of the 8th.
