Reds tidbits (2010 season)

makes me dislike him more, talkin all that [censored], and then going 0 for 5? Didn't he also go in a huge slump when he said he was the best all around 2B? Stop talkin fool

Brandon Phillips is what happens when an SEC caliber DB-he signed a football scholly w/Georgia-decides to play baseball instead-it just doesn't happen much, so you takethe good w/ the bad. His general attitude and approach would not blatantly stand out on an NFL or SEC football team,IMO.

BP is certainly in the discussion but give me Utley if I could pick any 2B in baseball.

I meant that the thing he said about the Cards was true, not necessarily the thing he said about himself.

I disagree about Utley though. Skip Schumaker is clearly the best 2B in baseball. :2004:

Well folks, looks like it will be Homer time soon.

Bailey was scratched as the starter tonight, and will instead pitch in relief. That will allow him to pitch Saturday on 3 days rest (Leake's next start).

BTW...I can't believe my March/April Leake plan ended up playing out just as I hoped/predicted. As long as he spends 20 days in the minors this year I will be very happy with how it worked out (well, except for that start last night).

edit: right after I posted my eye wandered to the tags at the bottom of thread. "homer bailey=cy young" made me laugh. I also enjoyed "Jaxbuck=furious!"
