Reds trade Hopper to White Sox

Updated 1:28 PM Friday, June 26, 2009
The Cincinnati Reds have traded outfielder Norris Hopper to the Chicago White Sox for catcher Corky Miller, according to a press release.
Miller, who played sparingly for the Reds from 2001-2004, is hitting .205 while playing just 14 games for the White Sox this season.
Miller will report to Class AAA Louisville, where Hopper spent the entire season.

I don't think anyone in the Reds FO has ever read Sun Tzu.

Inauspicious start for the umps tonight. Refuse to give Phillips the base because he stuck out his elbow. I don't think I've ever seen them actually call that. Then rule what was CLEARLY a catch by Dickerson a drop. I mean, no harm since they got the force out, but WTF was he even watching to make that call?

A lot of hard hit balls by both teams so far. I get the sense this may end up 12-10.

with the way its going so far the reds will probably win 15-0

Tomo Ohka is blowing chunks (50 pitches and he hasent even recorded an out in the 2nd yet) so the Indians pigeon coop is going to have to take on a load of innings, which means lots of runs for the reds
