Reds Tidbits (2008 season)

oh i was just saying release him, anything just to ensure he won't be on the team next year, cuz this year is toast already..

but when i got home tonight my tv was on fsn ohio still and their sports show was on..and they mentioned something about brantley and griffey. maybe there was a confrontation or an exchange in words of some sort.. i didn't catch the whole story and was wondering if someone else did

I'm not sure of the whole story, all i heard was that Griffey made a throat slashing motion, to what was thought to be at a fan, but I guess it was directed toward Jeff Brantley. Somthing about Ken not liking some comment he made. I couldn't find the whole story on the internets.

Griffey bristles at broadcaster's comments

COMMENT: Was Jeff Brantley right in what he said about Ken Griffey Jr.?

CINCINNATI ? For those who read Ken Griffey Jr.'s lips after his home run Saturday night and saw him make the throat-cutting gesture at home plate, the antics were aimed at broadcaster Jeff Brantley.

When Roy Oswalt sold his soul to the devil in exchange for eternal and absolute domination over an opposing baseball team, why did he choose the Reds and not some other team that actually matters.

Yet another meaningless 4-run home run from Adam Dunn last night I see.
