@ PHI x 4 L L W L
@ FL x 4 W L
STL x 3
BOS x 3
LAD x 3
@ NYY x 3

Goals should be 7IP 100 pitches
Game 1: Cueto 7IP 100 pitches 14.3 PPI
Game 2: Arroyo 4.1 IP 88 pitches 21.5 PPI
Game 3: Harang 6 IP 113 pitches 18.8 PPI
Game 4: Volquez 7 IP 113 pitches 16.1 PPI
Game 5: Bailey 6.1 IP 89 pitches 14.6 PPI
Game 6: Cueto 6 IP 115 pitches 19.2 PPI
Game 7: Arroyo 4.2 IP who gives a damn how many pitches

They had BETTER take these next two from FL. Had one given to them on a silver platter and gave it right back. Fuck me that would have been a great win to steal.

BTW, Arroyo is a fucking disaster.

has there been a seperate thread started for the reds draft or is it just on here?? some of their picks dont seem to make sense to me. they left some people on the board i thought for sure they wouldn't pass up (Petey Paramore and Brandon Crawford in the 3rd round instead of Stewert). Don't get me wrong I think Yonder can be a brute hitting major league pitching one day, he is at best an average fielder so im not sold on this draft. Based on the recent success of some previous drafts i guess i will give them a chance to play as professionals. Any thoughts?

MLB Draft=total crapshoot/wake me up in 3 years and lest see what we've got. I am completely Ok with just taking the BPA and stocking the system regardless of position.

BTW The Fish will start Ryan Tucker tommorrow.

Right hander who graduated HS in 2005, it will be his first MLB game.

vs Harang.

There could be a hangover from tonights game, this one really hurt.

Here's one you'll love Jax. Some stooge called into the pre-game on WLW because the host was advocating trading Arroyo to argue they should trade Daryl Thompson instead. His justification, of course, was that Bronson is "proven" and Thomson is not. He was also wondering what we could get for Cueto and Votto. It's a good thing they don't give IQ tests to sports talk show callers, because there would be a lot of dead air.

Check the cell phone records of Miley and Narron, it was one of the two.

BTW, last night on the game they said the reason Cantu was released was to make a roster spot for a rule 5 pitcher who they watched take warm-ups in the spring and didn't even bother to wait for him to pitch in a game before sending him packing. I guess we needed Juan Castro's right handed bat on the bench. :pissed:

Had to take a break from watching today.

The marlins kid is wild as hell and we are leaving guys on base not making him pay. Only RBI so far is from Harang.

So far it looks like they are going to let last night snap them back into being the old Reds. Overall play is for shit. Hope they wake the fuck up and pound this kid or get to the pen, he's throwing a lot of pitches.

Bottom 5 is a perfect example:

harang leads off and K's

next two hitters walk on 9-10 pitches, kid isn't even close to throwing strikes. Thats 2 on with 1 out.

jr grounds out hard on the 1st or 2nd pitch he sees. Luckily it isn't a DP. 1st and 3rd 2 outs.

BP grounds the first pitch he sees to the 3rd baseman.

End of inning, marlins kid's confidence goes up as we continue to not make him pay for his lack of control. He was at 80 pitches, we should have scored a couple of runs, chased him and gotten into their pen by the 5th.

These guys are starting to make me sick again.

BTW the marlins 2nd run was courtesy of Cody freakin Ross.

:shake:

Well our "ace" just put this one to bed.

4-1 Marlins and counting.

Thats game, series and probably season.

I know none of them care enough to be but they should be fucking ashamed of themselves. They had this whole series in the palm of their hand after that first game and just absolutely spit the bit.

21 year old rookie out pitches Harang.
