RB/WR Curtis Samuel (Buffalo Bills)

I think it was two weeks ago or so that Urban mentioned they'd be working Corey into the pivot with Dontre out, he seemed concerned with the number of snaps Jalin would be taking and physical toll.
With Jalin also taking on some QB/wildcat responsibility and a few weeks of bowl practices... I'd really like to see Samuel worked into the pivot role too. So many play makers on this team it's hard to work them all in.
Oh well trust the coaches etc.

Agree, I think that'd be a great way to get him on the field. Not sure about his hands, but I'm sure he can at least catch some pop passes and cut and run up the field.

Especially with how many sweeps were one broken tackle away from going to the house this year I think Samuel at the pivot would be enormous.

Samuel runs harder than Jalin and Jalin is a bit stronger than Dontre. All three need to see the ball but you can telll when Samuel gets wide he is really comfortable seeing the lane and GOING.

We actually have both 20 (2backs no tight end) and 21 (2backs 1 tight end) sets in the playbook, we just hardly use it. It gives us different options with counters, lead draws, and shovel passes. We could use it for misdirection. You can technically do the same thing out of a 11 set but this gets another playmaker on the field in the backfield. It just comes down to coaching staff deciding if a #3 WR is better for the offense vs a #2 back. But again, we hardly ever use it.

Next year I think you'll see jalin playing a lot more receiver while Curtis gets some time at H-back and rb.

We did something like that at least once with eze and jalin in the backfield against Michigan. Ran a sort of triple option on our fourth down touchdown. Half the defense ran with jalin and cardale on the speed option action.

Curtis definitely gets to top speed faster. Too bad we haven't really see Curtis break one to know how fast he can really go.

If his high school highlight tape is indicative of anything, I'd say there is one the fastest Buckeye I have seen in the last decade.
