I think it was two weeks ago or so that Urban mentioned they'd be working Corey into the pivot with Dontre out, he seemed concerned with the number of snaps Jalin would be taking and physical toll.
With Jalin also taking on some QB/wildcat responsibility and a few weeks of bowl practices... I'd really like to see Samuel worked into the pivot role too. So many play makers on this team it's hard to work them all in.
Oh well trust the coaches etc.
(reposted b/c I have no idea what this had to do with Mili's split)
We actually have both 20 (2backs no tight end) and 21 (2backs 1 tight end) sets in the playbook, we just hardly use it. It gives us different options with counters, lead draws, and shovel passes. We could use it for misdirection. You can technically do the same thing out of a 11 set but this gets another playmaker on the field in the backfield. It just comes down to coaching staff deciding if a #3 WR is better for the offense vs a #2 back. But again, we hardly ever use it.Anyone know how often we have run him in a 2 RB set and what kind of plays that opens up? Ross Fulton, are you listening?

I'd say Curtis is faster, but I think Zeke's speed is really underrated. He gets in the open field, and there isn't anybody catching him.I love me some Eze, but Curtis is freaking FAST.
he's gonna be something special, and sooner than later.
