RB/WR Curtis Samuel (Buffalo Bills)

I don't really get why he isn't being utilized at all by the offense other than comming in to block on a couple Barrett runs over the past few games. Has a great game against Illinois, then they basically shut him out the past 2 weeks.

Because late in the season you go with your horses. Add in that Elliott is an excellent blocker in every aspect who takes on the responsibility willingly.

I get what @buckeye4ever21 is saying. And yes Elliot is a horse, but teams need depth to win championships. Every team in the top 4 has a healthy rotation of at least 2 RBs that they feel confident in. If all we have is EzE and don't use Samuel, that doesn't bode well, IMO. Samuel is also dangerous and could've also killed some clock and made plays against Minny. Samuel will come in handy as the season progresses, IMO.

They brought in Samuel as a lead blocker for Barrett against MSU. He's averaging 7.1 yards per carry, you have to get him a few touches. Meyer wouldn't start a true freshman if he couldn't block or wasn't a hard worker.

I'm of the opinion Samuel needs some more action too. That KR was sweet and set up the late 1st half drive.

Also interesting that Curtis got doghouse'd for his fumble vs. Cinci, but Marshall gets run right back onto the field after his struggles. Of course, it's still, "trust the coaches" but doesn't mean I don't have an opinion that Samuel is a damn fine player and should get touches.
