RB TreVeyon Henderson (Official Thread)

Crazy that one class could have 2 position groups (RB and DL) that both land multiple top 5 players.

Kinda like the WR group did last year, the CB group did with Wade and Okudah in ‘17, etc etc.
You know were spoiled when it's getting overlooked that we could get the #1, 8 and 12 WR in the country as well! That's also elite

Between Henderson and Edwards, who is the running back who fits best into OSU's scheme?
Henderson! I have said it before I’ll say it again. Closest player to Reggie Bush I’ve seen on film. Edwards is really good and I’d be very happy to have him. But Henderson excites me in the same way Terrelle Pryor did as a recruit.

I was a HUGE Bijan Robinson fan. Wanted him more than any RB I can remember Ohio State recruit. Watching Henderson’s film, I like him even better than Bijan. He’s elite!

Definitely see some Reggie Bush in him. Speed, moves, agility, vision.

Man, here’s the thing I really like about him:

His speed is obviously absurd; but he doesn’t allow it to make him arrogant. What I mean by that is he knows when he needs to exercise patience and follow his blockers rather than just try to bounce outside every play (I’m looking at you Saquon Barkley). You can tell when he’s running between the tackles he especially knows when to be patient because it’s when his unfair burst is on display; he isn’t arrogant, but he’s aware and he’s very confident/decisive when he sees the slightest opening. This is what allows him to get to the second level so much without even encountering contact at the first level.

I just love the way he follows his teammates. The emphasis we out on downfield blocking from the wide receivers in conjunction with an athletic offensive line — he could experience ridiculous success here. It’s not just physical talent that makes him a great prospect; it’s his awareness and knowledge of the position. His approach is humble.

That’s just me .02
