Is he really going to average 9ypc for the whole season?? I keep telling myself its only Rutgers, only Maryland, only Indiana... Its the craziest thing I have seen a Buckeye do in my lifetime.
Illinois had a back over 220 and 130 yds. If the transitive property held we’d have 3 over a hundred ..Is he really going to average 9ypc for the whole season?? I keep telling myself its only Rutgers, only Maryland, only Indiana... Its the craziest thing I have seen a Buckeye do in my lifetime.
(On field) Reggie Bush is a solid comparison. Bush was explosive, fast, elusive and a threat to go the distance everytime he touched the ball. Henderson is exactly that. He seems to be running towards a wall of tacklers, shakes a bit and emerges unscathed running to daylight.I looked up Reggie Bush's junior stats to just out of curiosity. Scored a td every 13 touches. Henderson is scoring one every 6. (I get the game now is more spread out w/ more scoring, LenDale White got most of the goalline touches, but still...)

This is true. One big difference is Henderson is also 10-15lbs bigger than Bush. Bush was never built to be an every down RB, and White was needed to work with him. Henderson doesn't need Teague and Williams for Goal line or short yardage situations. But it's smart to use them to keep Henderson fresh.
... It can be argued that the entire offense around Henderson is better than Clarett's. ...
NOBODY having a career day or even “going off” however you may define it.
