RB Miyan “Chop” Williams (Official Thread)

I don’t think he ran the wrong way. He just missed his hole. Looked like it was designed to go between Dawand and Ruckert. But when all that green is out there, why not??

He admitted he went the wrong way. It looked like a split action zone play. One of those "what are you doing.....go go go " plays.

Man, I love how hard he ran last night. Showed really fast feet in general, and when you add his size, he's going to be really good. Glad I have reason to get my #28 jersey out again. Got it when Beanie was killing people. Looking forward to seeing him run the next few years.

Well then CJ needs to admit that he carried out a fake to the wrong side, as well.

At this point, the RB rotation needs to be a 1-2 punch of Williams and Henderson. Teague wasn't bad, but he should be the 3rd option, IMO. Which is what many of us predicted in the off season. Williams is a beast. I can see the Hyde comparison, but not sure who else to compare him too in the OSU past. If I had to compare him to anyone else not OSU, it would be Lendale White or Marion Barber III

He reminds me of Zac Stacy. Played at Vandy under Franklin. Played a few years in the league until injuries and family issues prompted him to retire.

Why are reporters such shit? Why did nobody follow up to find out if Chop simply ran the wrong way due to a mental error and got lucky - or if he saw Minnesota sell out on the playside so he took advantage of the open field.

Running to open field on purpose is not running "the wrong way" and it is not an "accident."
