Yup its up to the coaching staff! If we win then I'm all for whoever is at running back, but evertime I think of mo wells quickness I can't help but try to pretend like I know whats best for our bucks! lol Heres hoping Mo has a good first year! GO Wells, and more importantly GO BUCKS!

It's tough deciphering his attitude thru a writeup... from the interactions he had with a few of my friends (as in BPers and others) at the North/South game he sounds like a humble guy (which gels with what I had heard before hand)...

You shouldn't come to OSU if you aren't confident... I think he could be a special player if he's able to handle the hits. From the sounds of his muscle growth, he might be able to help better this year than we thought. It will be awesome to see him get some carries later in the game against Miami, assuming we get a 2 score lead on them.
I love confident players. I would much rather have a player who is confident and always expects the best of himself, than the type of player who takes what is given him and is content.

If Mike Hart at 5'8 190 can get 1400 yards as a true frosh, theres no reason Wells cant do the same. Hes got more physical talent than Hart does.

IMO they're different kinds of backs. Hart is a workhorse. A stout engine that could.

Mo Wells has had injury problems and is more like a japanese bullet train.

So who has more talent? It's hard to say; they excel in different places.

Its really up to whether or not the coaching staff plays to our best trait right now: Speed.

Missing only two games in high school, because of a hip pointer, can hardly be called "having injury problems". If he misses only two games due to injury while at Ohio State, I'll be very happy.

I think BN27 said that Maurice Wells is a Reggie Bush-type player.

In fact, I think there's a Ramonce, I mean romance, developing between him and Mo Wells. Carly might get jealous.

Or maybe I'm just a sarcastic *****, a word that I'm not supposed to post in a recruiting thread. That's certainly possible.

Mo Wells will be a factor from day one! A back who leads the state of Florida in rushing as a junior is special! About Haw, most people forget that he was a fullback in high school. Haw was an inside runner with great speed! He has inside runner toughnest to go with that speed!

Yup Haw was indeed TB his senior year... To go along with Worthington and O'neal Wells is definatly the player that I look forward to most. Only reason I say this is because at 5'10" 190 pounds most people don't realize that its actually a very stout size to be. Now of course he'll end up his career around 205-210 but at that size he should be very hard to get ahold of in the open field. That and the fact that we might be able to use him like Bush excites me! If this kid excites you then tell us why !?

Confidence is fine by me. From what I've heard, this kid isn't going to come to campus strutting his stuff. He might be confident he can handle everything that's thrown at him, but I've heard from people that have talked to him that he will do what the team needs him to do.

Yeah haw may have good straight ahead speed, but this kid is the true definition of a speed back. If he bulks up enough to take the hits, even if its just occasional plays, that would be awesome.

Fair enough, I'd be happy with another Warrick Dunn... barry's equal may not be seen for a while...

they really should build some holes for his hair to escape thru... that's an absurd amount of hair to put in a helmet

No I don't think it does any good comparing him to Micheal. As of right now we don't know who he measures up to, but if I had to guess he might get alittle thicker than micheal. Also didn't Pittman weight in at 190 last year? If so I see no reason why Wells wouldn't be able to contribute with his cutting ability/vision.
