In case you haven't noticed, Maurice, folks here are thrilled that you've joined the family. We've been waiting for this day for a solid year and we are now starting the countdown to September, when we can see you in Scarlet and Gray.

Alex Boone and the rest of our new O-line will make the holes for you. All we hope you will do is run through them at lightspeed and score TDs. Every time you do, 106,000 folks will be screaming your name, with literally millions more screaming at their TV sets at home.

If you achieve your potential at tOSU, you will have a future so bright you'll need shades.

anyone else get the eery feeling that the other maurice is going to drop like 50 pounds, grow dreads, become lightning fast, start acting like a man and somehow someway try and steal wells' identity and try and get back on campus after being disappointed with the NFL draft?

maybe i am getting paranoid after all the espn and nytimes stuff.

big get today with wells. exactly what this class/team/offense needed was an eligible version of javon ringer.

I liked that he sounded humble, and that he was holding off on announcing because he'd agreed to do it at the game, not because he wanted the drama. I like that he talked about family, and the way he handed the question about depth charts was just about perfect. It's great that he couldn't keep from smiling, especially when he leaned into the microphone to announce he's a Buckeye. :)
