RB Maurice Wells (Official Thread)

I'd be kind of mad if I held out this long to announce at the AA game, and a week before i get down there people close to me reveal where Im going to go. Maurice saying he's known since Thanksgiving I dont think was meant to give anyone a clue. I just hope he doesnt get another 100 calls from these web sites asking him if it's true that he committed back in November. Let the kid have his fun and announce at the AA game, hes been trying to conceal this info for over a month now.
Well, you have to realize we still dont know for 100% sure until he tells us.
Secondly, we on these boards dont make up a very large percentage of football fans,
there were be plenty of people still wondering what he is going to do come the AA game.

edit - found a drooly guy

whats funny is jamie newburg being the southern homer that he is, is telling most folks on scout that GT has a very very good chance because of osu's ncaa troubles. when pressed on predicting a few weeks ago, he called wells to GT. lol, its a good thing he is the main guru for scout.

I am pretty sure that is a Buckeye shirt underneath the AA Jersey

Great call! Mmmmm Scarlet.

Rivals Premium

Mo Wells was listed as one of the top 4 performers on-one-on one drills (LBs couldn't hang with him, anyone shocked about that?) and it looks like he added some size and muscle already. Great at catching the balls. I'm excited about this kid.

I agree with his hands and speed, and the new young agile line maybe we can pull off a screen pass or two. It's going to be nice to have an outlet who can make some plays ala ginn.

You know, Pittman wasn't too shabby in that department either, the few times we tried it...

Morley, Turner and Kenny Phillips were the other 3 of note.

As for Boone: "Boone is a tough kid. He played most of the practice, including the one-on-one pass rush drills, without a helmet due to an equipment problem"

Also said he like the rest of the east line is huge. Also, noted that a unheralded DE names Heyman, "beat Boone in one-on-one pass rush drills"

Thanks for the help, but that is all on the Boone thread, let's keep them seperate.

I just saw HH's post on Bustnuts this morning...I guess I totally missed it. Well, here's hoping that Wells, O'Neal, and Boone start working on McCoy and Gwaltney while they are down there...
