Him and Rico are gonna announce at the AA game for tOSU

And Gwaltney. :)

******************************

Regarding Mo Wells, HH just posted this on BN at 10:30 tonite...

He is going up [to GA Tech] tomorrow. Look for him to give a verbal commit shortly after his return.

To quote a great philosopher that I studied while at OSU:

"Don't Worry, Be Happy!"

So it sounds like he might not even wait till Jan 15th!

From the looks of things Wells will be a much needed boost at the RB position. It seems as though he could be a great receiver out of the backfield, kinda like Reggie Bush. Another thing that I like is that he was getting some looks at CB, at least from what I remember. Most people cannot fathom the possibility of Wells being anything but a RB, but it is not out of the realm of possibility of maybe getting a look there. For some reason, I think of Reggie Bush when I think of Wells. Hopefully Wells turns out to be just as good.

Agreed. I think our chances increase with Gwaltney increase about 5-10% from wherever they are now (20-40%). If he has a long time to consider joining OSU when he knows for usre that OSU has him, that will be far better than having to make a quicker decision on AA day.

If I understand this correctly you thing our chances go up because Wells will have already committed.

Well I guess it could go either way b/c maybe he wouldnt like another back ranked that high or maybe he would want to come in and play with him. I think the best thing tOSU has going for them is WVU's drop off after high expectations and the distance to USC.

Another thing is the Big back Small back thing. I can't even begin to imagine our running back situation in the next couple of years running behind the oline we are going to have. It won't matter how conservative jt gets. :)

After seeing this kid run and looking at his numbers, he was the must get of this class.

Tough, lightning quick, and versatile. This team is going to be too fast for the Big 10!!!! :banger:

EDIT I broke my own rule about putting the cart before the horse. IF he commits to the Buckeyes and signs his LOI on February 2! (This team is going to be too fast anyway)

Rivals has an update on shoenhoft. in it he says that mo wells called him wednesday night to talk about various things.

if that is not a telling sign about what wells is thinking at the moment, then i dont know what is.

If JT can get the line where they need to be, some of these small backs could end up putting up big numbers. If you give them a crease, they will blow up.

Yeah, how in the hell do you see a 5'9" back behind a group of guys 6'6" to 6'8"? Of course, the QB needs to be able to see around these guys too.
