RB Jaamal Berry (Transfer to Murray State)

I'm thinking that in 2 or 3 years we'll be talking about the Heisman race between Marcus Lattimore, Michael Dyer and Jamaal Berry. 3 STUD frosh RB's.

Not if Hall has anything to say about it.

In all seriousness, it will be hard for any of them to win the Heisman because of how stacked we are in the backfield. I don't see a one man show coming anytime soon.

Berry had a solid day today. Even though he is relegated to the third/fourth string, he plays to the best of his ability when he's in. The boy has so much potential its crazy.

on special teams and in spot duty. I don't get it though I really don't.... When Hall/Berry come in they find the holes they hit it up in there hard when nothing is there but when the next game starts out comes #3. Again I love what Saine brings as a receiver but I think it's pretty obvious who the more talented running backs are. I think we should employ a few sets with two running backs in the game though like we see sometimes. Saine along with Herron/Hall/Berry. Saine for the reciever threat and the other three for a running threat.

We are going to be very very spoiled in the years to come though. Berry/Hall/Hyde/Smith.... I mean wow those four? We'll be lucky to hang on to all these guys.

I do agree with you, but Tressel would never bench a senior to play a freshman or sophmore.

While Tressel gives a good degree of priority to seniors, he'll play freshmen if they're the best at the position (see Mo C in 2002 and Pryor in 2008).

Yup.

Hall saw a lot of playing time last year and has seen even more this year.

Berry will get his reps, but we have to also realize that Boom and Zoom have game experience.

I have a good feeling that that will prove important in the midst of the BigTen stretch, particularly the Wisky and Iowa games.
