I use that same tactic when my wife has me dead to rights.

Just shut up and wait for something else to come up to distract her. If I said something real (as opposed to just normally) dumb I bribe my son with a transformer to go break something so she'll get off my ass and focus on him for a while.

Try sugar; it is harder to prove and a to prove than a toy, which in and of itself, represents physical evidence of an implicit contract. Even if hyperactivity is a possibly there is enough uncertainty in the medical community to provide plausible denyability.

I'll deal with the old lady a million times before I'll voluntarily endure a couple of hours of my son on a sugar rush.

Now, supplying said sugar on my way out the door to go play golf has some merit. :sneaky:

I still think sugar has some merit why "wife has me dead to rights" and you "wait for something else to come up and distract her". The question is in the dosage. I think you can optimize the dosage with multiple experiments conducted on the way to play golf.

There would certainly be a large enough sample size to validate the findings if I decided to undertake that study.

For those that don't know, those images were from a video game. Harmless stuff being blown out of proportion by those craving readership and/or a listening audience.

Just to add a little more detail, the only "gangsta" images on Jamal's page were from a very common game like this (if not this exactly):



I looked at Jamal's myspace page via a link in an article when the arrest story first broke. He had a banner on the sidebar showing what rank he was in the game. Any images of guns are animated. These types of profile flare are common among myspace members of all ages and backgrounds (note the #1 app claim). This has as much to do with Jamal being a thug as a "What Superhero Are You?" quiz has to do with me being Green Lantern. There were absolutely no pics of Jamal posing with guns, cash, etc. I'm suprised, and more than a little disappointed, that anyone presenting themself as a journalist would mention this without completely discrediting it's relevance. Anyone who is using this as an indication of Jamal's character should be ashamed of themselves. They are quite simply exploiting an 18 year old kid for their own notoriety. Completely inexcusable.

Well said, but calling these talking heads "journalists" is a mistake.

Attention whores? Yes.

Journalists? Hell no.
