I said it, and I'm not ashamed to say it again. I enjoy watching him with or without the ball. I get tunnel vision watching him play at times.Someone here said that EZE might be the best OSU RB ever. I've only been watching OSU football since 2000 or so with sprinklings here and there but...yeah I think I'm ready to call EZE the best OSU RB that I've seen. He just does EVERYTHING so well and he gives 100% effort on every play. Love this kid to death.
I (like a lot of people) have thought it would be nice if we could develop a more consistent #2 back to save Zeke some carries, especially in games where realistically we don't really need him on the field at all times to win, so he's fresh at the end of the year.
But looking at his carries he's not at a crazy pace compared to last year. Last year he had 115 carries through 7 games, this year 148.
Still think it would be beneficial in the long run if we could get Dunn or Weber or whoever on the field more to spell Zeke a little bit but I understand the coaches' dilemma: it's hard to take a special player off the field.
