RB DeaMonte “Chip” Trayanum (==> Kentucky ==> Toledo)

For those familiar...

Why is he only getting 6 carries in one game. 7 in another?

Because they use a 2-back rotation and the other back is pretty darn good too... believe he's going to Kentucky...

The coach has stated he feels it's a huge strength of the team...

In a couple of these games they only had less than a dozen plays on offense in 2nd half since they scored so quickly

plus they have a very good passing game... with a soph QB and a TE going to Bama

PS We're going to hate the name Rumler... a super stud LT going to scUM

I think he may be one of those guys who's brought in as 'athlete' till they see where he will fit the best. Kinda like Steele Chambers. But make no mistake this kid can play. If he was playing down south he's probably a 5-star.
I was just about to ask if anyone could predict a position. I guess he's a "bring him in and find a position later" type of kid

Cleveland.com has him rated as a top defender.. they put him at 'safety'

About Trayanum: Set to become a three-year starter next season on both sides of the ball, Trayanum played even more spots on defense this year than Hoban's 2017 run, which also earned him a spot on the cleveland.com defensive all-star team. Initially, he moved back from linebacker to safety but still played up in the box enough to make an impact both against the run and pass. In the state championship game, Hoban even used him at cornerback (he had a team-high three breakups in the state final). Offensively, Trayanum proved to be a sledgehammer at running back with 1,313 yards and 26 touchdowns on just 106 carries. His scholarship offers include Ohio State, Michigan, Notre Dame, Penn State and Stanford.
