RB Daniel "Boom" Herron (Official Thread)

If he and the rest of the crew really value what JT tried to instill in them they will stay and finish out their careers. I don't care how many students, faculty and alumini hate them, the man just threw his career and reputation in the toilet trying to protect these guys. One thing these guys can learn from this is to stand up and accept responsibility for the adversity they created like men. People will make mistakes...it is how they respond afterwards that truly reveals their character. If they leave or run for the NFL with their tails between their legs it will prove to me that they learned nothing from the man.

Would it surprise me if he or any of the other ones leave....absolutely not. Given the opportunity, I would hope that they would understand that by staying and facing the criticism and anger from many of us, that they can learn from this and truly understand what was sacrificed for them.
A hardy Buckeye Amen to that bro...:osu:

I've talked to Boom here & there over the last few weeks, and he's just ready to finish his career on a solid note. He'll come out strong and motivated, and I can't wait to see him on the field this season.

Excellent news, unfortunately every time I see a thread on a player come up, I find myself saying; Uh..Oh.....

When I talked with him a couple months back, he seemed really excited to get to work. Seemed like he wanted to prove himself and put himself in position for the draft next year. I expect big things from him after the suspension is over.

I saw Boom at Mcfaddens a few weeks ago, He makes Trent Richardson look small now. He must be at at least 215-220 right now...

I live in the same complex as Boom and he definitely has hit the weights and looks a lot bigger than when I saw him in January. I think he will be ready once his suspension ends.

But we've got four other very, very good backs as well.

Boom has way more experience than anyone else, almost never fumbles the ball (the fumble late in the Sugar Bowl, if I remember correctly, was his first in a long time), and in the spring game ran the ball better than anyone else. I don't think he'll be losing his job, even though, I agree there are other good backs at OSU right now.
