RB Chris "Beanie" Wells (All B1G, All-American)

Man he is jacked, but look at his legs. His legs are pretty skinny compared to his upper body. I'm not saying he doesn't have any leg strength, but its not hard to see why he has problems with his ankles/foot.

With that said, I am not completely devastated by his stock slipping because if he drops to Philly at the #21 pick I am going to have a heart attack. I would go absolutely nuts.

I would say his build is very similar to a lot of power backs

even though it does appear like Beanie is a bit more top heavy than McFadden or Peterson.

Ah to be a running back. Too top heavy and you have ankle/feet problems. If you're compact you have shoulder problems.

McShay-Five with the most to gain

1. Chris "Beanie" Wells, RB, Ohio State
Wells has struggled to stay healthy throughout his collegiate career, and there are questions regarding his versatility and overall maturity. However, there's no denying that Wells is the most physically gifted running back in the 2009 class. If the 235-pound Buckeye runs the 40 in the low 4.4s, catches the ball smoothly during drills, passes all his medical exams and hits it off with the right coach or executive, he easily could be one of the top 15 NFL draft picks.

His legs are not skinny, that photo is creating an illusion for your eyes. Look at any picture of him in action from the side and you'll see how big his legs are.

I totally agree with you! He is good but is way to much injury prone for the pro's that right there is what is going to bring him down in the rankings! I think if he does first round that it will be later in the round! He does have lots of potential. I could perhaps see him being a work horse on goal line because of his size! But not so much a main every down back! Perhaps even returning kicks!

I'm going to PM you a list of games, just indicate who you think will win please. Thanks.

Mike Mayock has Beanie ranked 3rd behind Moreno and Donald Brown. My God, what did Beanie do to have everyone drop him like a rock? I thought rushing for 100 yards in a half against the #2 rush defense in the country in a BCS bowl would've quieted the critics but I guess not.

Please just tell me you're kidding. A work hourse in goal line situations. Holy shit man he's not a full back. The kid could run as well as many of the RB's in the last few years of the draft. I can't believe what I just read.
