And later in the game, they ran Beanie a few times for no gain and the announcers noted that there was no ground movement. So I suppose it's Whisenhunt's fault that Beanie averaged only 3 yards a carry as well. Sheesh, I know we all want Beanie to excel, but the comments about the coaching staff is over the top.

These alumni threads are all the same. Wave the pom poms, or if a guy isn't producing, blame the coaching staff, system, city, fans, etc...

I get your point, but this is also the same coach that had multiple 3 and outs in the second half by throwing the ball 3 straight times, while leading in the second half by 21. It's as if Whisenhunt left Pttsburgh and forgot the power run game.

Is it the homer in me saying Beanie is horribly overrated in fantasy this year b/c of who his coach is, or the Buckeye homer in me bashing Whisenhunt??

I think Beanie can be an elite NFL running back. I don't think he can be one under Whisenhunt and what he has proven he wants to do.

Whisenhunt will play to the strength of his team just like any good coach does. Beanie is going to have a very good season. Don't read into anything the Cardinals do or don't do in preseason. They play it as vanilla as it gets.

AZ offensive playing calling was not very creative and actually come to think of it OFFENSIVE is about all it was. 1st and goal and three straight pass plays are called including 3rd down from the 1 or 2 yard line. Atleast call playaction or something but nevermind you have a 227lb power back in the game. Stupid stupid stupid playcalling. If you're offended by what I think of wisencunt and his shitty playcalls so be it.

If he does it in the regular season, it'll make sense to be pissed. They're trying to figure out who the starting QB is going to be. They know Beanie can run.

Anyway, Beanie is going to hate life if the Cards dont get their Oline together. Those QB's arent very good and without supreme protection, its going to be a long season and 8 in the box vs the running game.

Beanie's screwed big time. Not only does he have no passing game to help take people out of the box, but his head coach is in love with Hightower too. They made all this deal about Arizona getting road blocking lineman well it won't matter if there's going to be 8-10 in the box.

I root rationally or irrationally for my Buckeyes and I'll admit that. I don't give a fuck about the NFL and so I will gladly bash a coaching staff that may or may not be doing the right thing if it doesn't involve a Buckeye like I think it should. After all, that's the only reason I'm tuning in so when they don't get the ball, of course the coaches are a flock of dipshits. :biggrin:

In all seriousness, I get what you true fans are saying about it being pre season and all that. So don't ever take what I say about the NFL serious because to me, it's just "Buckeyes doing their thing for money" and when they aren't doing their thing, then I hate to watch.
