RB Chris "Beanie" Wells (All B1G, All-American)

I love the slot.

He will be the complimentary portion of the offense, and will not have to deal with much "boom? bust?" media noise with his low draft selection.

James comes off the books after this season & Hightower was very mediocre last year (2.8 ypc).

It's all Wells. Hightower built fantasy love by scoring a bunch of touchdowns... inside the 2. Jason Wright will be a third down back and Hightower will be a spot runner. Cardinals have really lucked out.

The Cardinals finally started to figure out how to run the ball in the playoffs. Their futile attemps at running the ball during the regular season were few and far between. Beanie will be the featured back and Hightower will still get a good number of carries because I think he's better than his YPC shows. Should be interesting to see how it all works and which players are used in which situations. Hightower is a beast around the goal line, so I don't know if Beanie will get those goal line opportunities?

In the Superbowl, I was hoping the Cards and their pass-oriented offensive juggernaut led by Warner/Fitzgerald would pull of the upset, and with the addition of Beanie, the Cards got even more deadly.

The Cards are a similar team to the Saints (my team), and a lot of Saints fans were hoping that we took Beanie Wells at #14. From everything I've read, our coach, Sean Payton, was very high on Beanie and we even tried to find a trading partner that would allow us to get him in addition to Jenkins. A big, physical, talented powerback would be a huge asset to the Saints, and Beanie Wells is one of the best big, physical, talented powerbacks to come out of college in recent memory.

How about Hightower and Wells in at the same time?
