Not taking anything away from Wells because he played very well. The first 3 quarters was all Pittman. After that the D was worn down and wells did what any player of his quality would do ,,, run over them :)Jaxbuck;659102; said:Imo, if you didn't know who any of the players were and were just watching the game as an opposing coach, Beanie is the one who jumps off the screen at you. It's hard to describe in words how much higher of a plane this kid is on physically.
I think Dick Tressel tried when he put Chris Wells into the same sentence with Jim Brown.Jaxbuck;659102; said:Imo, if you didn't know who any of the players were and were just watching the game as an opposing coach, Beanie is the one who jumps off the screen at you. what about having beanie hold the football like a rugby ball and secure it in his vice grip? obviously not a change to be made this week

But, when he hits his stride. Holy Crap. Call in a dump truck, because that is about what you need to take him down. I think I watched him carry a pile at least another three or four yards a couple times. .)
Dang straight.Cornerback6;659515; said:I think we're all very excited about Beanie, but I think something that is rare and that maybe no one has mentioned yet, but isn't it fun to be just as excited to watch the backup RB run the ball as the 1st stringer? I am a greedy fan and tend to get a bit saddened when the backup comes in who everyone knows isn't nearly as good as the starter. When Beanie comes in, I can't wait to watch him run someone over. Pittman is amazing too BTW. How lucky are we?
