Maybe I watched too much Law & Order, but my understanding is that if the victim doesn't press charges the accused walks.

Normally that's the way it works, unless a juvenile is involved, OR the incident is classified as a domestic battery. In a domestic battery the officer "will" determine who the primary aggressor is, and take that person to jail, regardless of the victim's intent to prosecute or cooperate.

You can't see shit in the video...let alone tell whether he even touched her. Mindy Drayer's "analysis" of the video was way off. She should have left the detective work to those that are actually trained to do it.

The guy with the cross tattoo saw everything. He did try to swing his arm; whether or not it landed is pretty irrelevant at this point.

It's certainly not as bad as the media let it on to be. The bigger question is how Urban will handle this? He just went through a grilling about discipline and the media is unfairly attributing Hernandez character issues on him from his Florida coaching days. He may feel compelled to dole out some form of punishment to keep the media off his back.
