With the numbers we have next year for schollies it may be very tough to take 2, however there may be some early entries and transfers etc that free up space at the RB spot.

Too true, however it may be in our best interest to have some space between a currently crowded backfield and next years prospects. Some may shy away from such a stacked depth chart. That being said, how nice would it be if one or more of those mentioned would take a redshirt once on campus!:biggrin:

This time last year if I asked fans to name a Class of 2012 player some would have said Greg McMullen but most would have said Brionte Dunn. He appeared on the scene as a freshman looking like the second coming of Chris Wells. I saw the thing in him that separates big backs from tweeners. I am talking about the feet. Quick, quick, quick. The outstanding big backs are 220-225 but have the same quick feet as players forty lbs lighter. So the question becomes, why is Dunn so far down the list now?

The answer is pretty simple. On his sophomore film, I did not see those same quick feet. I did not see the jump cuts. I did not see the same explosion. My concern when we first saw him was that he could outgrow the position. Anytime you have a player that big at such an early age, the odds he is going to outgrow the position are pretty good.

i just got back from the glenoak, massillon game and it was a spectacular game. glenoak lost 27-28 on a missed extra point.

brionte had an absolutely amazing game with three touchdowns and over 300 hundred yards on the ground alone. he had two separate runs over 30, one over 40 and a 78 yard td run. he was burning guys left and right. he looked like a man among boys.

the most impressive thing i saw all night, was when he was stood up at the five yard line and literally dragged 5 guys into the endzone. it was amazing. this kid has a ton of potential and is just scratching the surface. i don't even know how many tackles he broke or how many yards after contact he had. he just looked great and showed off in front of a bunch of d1 scouts.
