How many former Meyer QBs are in the NFL? At least two. How many former Tressel QBs are in the NFL? Zero.

I can name at least one:

Back on topic, I have no doubt that the offense Meyer will run next season would be a great one for Dunn to run in. Whether Dunn sees it that way is something we'll have to wait and see.

How he sees it will have much to do with who he is listening to.

Were talking about this kid like he's gonna start automatically next year! He's likely gonna be a redshirt, since we already are 3 deep at RB without ball or Dunn. Dunn would be a great addition, but not a program changer. He's going to be sharing the rock anyway during his career. Its gonna be difficult for him to fend off Smith, ball, and more than likely green. IMO, we shouldn't make such a big deal about this one kids decision. Especially with Meyer and his recruiting prowess

4th and inches, I'm putting Dunn in the game.

We don't have an established every down back returning next year. That's wonderful that we have three backs on the roster, but none of them have been the #1 back for this program. Playing time is available and Dunn is a heckuva football player with a college ready body.

Herron will be gone after this year, and Hall will be gone after next year. Hyde has proven himself, 100 or so carries, 5.4 yard average. Smith has not proven himself, and Berry I don't want to talk about. An injury or two is all it would take.

Michigan has one proven back and that is Fitz. Dunn would get at least 10 carries a game at M as a true freshman with Shaw graduating and Cox probably not being asked back for his Senior season.

It's going to be difficult for him to fend off a guy who switched to LB mid-season, a guy who hasn't signed a LOI yet and a guy who only has a verbal offer?

There's a new head coach coming in, and a whole new offensive staff. Other than the two guys who Meyer name-checked in his presser (Miller, Stoneburner) you have to assume that every position is going to be up for grabs, making playing time available for a player of Dunn's caliber if he comes to C-bus and is able to earn it.
