Brian Snead did not play again Saturday because of a "violation of team rules" that Ohio State is monitoring. It has not yet been determined whether he will make the trip to Penn State.

I'm not sure games played is much of an issue. Teague has only played in one game (Tulane) that Snead did not. If, on the other hand, Snead is still not dressing for home games and/or traveling with the team on road games, that would be a more obvious bad sign about his status.

The team website listed Snead on the depth chart for the Maryland game, but this article seems to show he wasn't on the travel roster.

Reporter just asked if he was eligible to play in the bowl game or what his status is, and Day said he had no updates on his status. Don't know what happened but he seems pretty deep in the dog house
