I sure hope posey and flash are next in line. I have been waitin to see these guys hit the field for some major playing time all year. If pryor can deliver the ball deep to them (which I think he can) then posey and flash are constant deep threats with the breakaway speed to bust even small plays for home-runs. I would love to see us throw some bubble screens and jailbreak screens to posey and flash. Get them the ball in the open field and see if they don't make a big play 9 out of 10 times. AnyWAYS back to Zoom. I honestly cannot wait to see brandon at FB because I have watched him struggle the past two years and it sucks because you can tell the guy wants it and he has the skills to be great. So hopefully this all works out for him.

If Saine were a viable option at fullback he would have won the spot when we were looking for one in the off season. He will basically be lining up in the fullback's position and playing as another option out of the backfield. He won't ever be playing when we need the blocking and therefore he won't really be a fullback in the conventional sense.

I would really like to see Saine find a role on this team. It's disappointing that we haven't been able to use these types of dynamic players in our offense. If we were using all our weapons economically we would be scary.

Saine could've stuck under Cooper's regime but not Tressel's. Matt Keller was an excellent fullback and not much bigger than Saine. Keller could run well and catch very well for a back. Saine needs to get the ball in the passing game to be totally effective here due to his running style in my opinion. He could be used very effectively but we'd be running more plays away from our base offense if we do. I would love to see more pistol implemented next season and I think Saine could flourish in that setting with Herron in the backfield. We'd get more option with Herron/Saine split and Pryor in the pistol and still have the ability to pass the ball.

We have the younger Homan coming in at fullback as well next year so the different formations should be near limitless. Where would Saine fit in our system best? Certainly not at WR, maybe a wing position but I'd say more out of split backs. He has to make sure his blocking skills are improved to see more action though. The cash cow is Pryor, and if players cant block for him they wont be in the game.

I think the the issue is the way Saine seems like he is almost afraid to get hit. When he gets called for a dive play, he hesitates, covers the ball up with 2 hands, and kinda puts his head down and doesn't pump his legs. I think he is better out in open space, if he gets plays called like WVU and Texas, where we can set him up in the backfield and run quick screens to him. Same with Lamaar Thomas, this is the best way to utilize, I think.

Man, this kid is running way too tentative like was stated before. When Berry and Hyde step onto Ohio State's campus next year, Saine's gonna see his role diminish immensely if he doesn't start running like an OSU RB! This kid has a different dimension to his game that Boom doesn't have which is that he has great hands in the catching game, but we brought him in to be a RB not a WR, and if he doesn't play harder he might be making the bench his home, no matter how highly touted he was in HS.

It does seem like hes afraid to get him, but I wonder if it was the hamstring that held him back. Seen him in Highschool and his toughness was very evident, but i dont know what happened.
